GS Elan Women's Cycling

The Greenville Spinners Bicycle Club has always been involved in developing women’s cycling in Greenville, SC through a group called Women On Wheels.  The club is now rebranding this women’s only group in an effort to build membership and welcome more women into the sport.  The new organization is going to be called GS élan Women’s Cycling.

GS élan is hosting a big kickoff at the Greenville Spinners Time Trial/Cookout/Swap Meet Thursday night, July 8 at 6pm at SC-TAC.  If you’re a woman cyclist in town interested in pursuing your passion, you will want to be at SC-TAC tomorrow night.  You’ll learn more about the club, have some fun and probably meet some new women to ride with.

I hope to see you at the Greenville Spinners Event on July 8.  In addition to the women's only GS elan gathering, there will be other bicycle club activities open to everyone.  There will be a Time Trial for those interested in testing themselves against the clock.  We're also hosting a cookout with lots of BBQ and a bicycle swap meet, so bring your extra gear to sell and your money to buy if you're shopping for some new bicycle parts and gear.

For healthy-lifestyle-seeking women of all ages and athletic abilities, GS élan is the all-women social/fitness group that expands friendships, builds self-esteem and educates women on the sport of cycling, through weekly cycling club meetings and rides, lead by supportive and accomplished female cyclists who are there to teach and encourage club members every step of the way.
